Day 1 Arrival
Flew US Air to Montego Bay. Smooth flights, no problems. Sailed through Customs at the airport in 10 minutes. Stopped by the Sandals/Beaches lounge for a restroom break and a Diet Coke. I was in the transfer van within 10 minutes.
The trip to Whitehouse is 90 min, but it was smooth and uneventful. Home at last! I was greeted warmly by the Koen, the General Manager and also introduced to Christine, my butler. She escorted me to my gorgeous butler suite, room number 1428.
The room is spacious, newly decorated and inviting. I walked down to Bluefields for two Jamaican patties—they don’t make them like that in the US. J
I went to the Italian Village pool and surprisingly, fell asleep on a raft in the water. Workation is hard work. J
I had a quick dinner at Guiseppe’s. I had minestrone and fetticini. The service and food were good. I came back to my room for a snack from my butler. I made it a very early bedtime.
