Dream Makers Vacation Services is truly honored to have been invited on the inaugural US sailing of the Harmony of the Seas. Co-owner, Amy McHugh and Dream agent, Robyn Ayers began their adventure today on the world’s largest cruise ship. We both flew into Ft Lauderdale and the transfers are a mere 15 minutes to the port. The boarding process was seamless and we were onboard within 15 minutes of our arrival at the port.

To say this ship is spectacular is an understatement. This ship has something for everyone and it is sure to keep your whole family entertained. There are three water slides, two rock climbing walls, two surf simulators and even a 10 story dry slide. The options are endless on this 1,188 foot mega ship. We are staying in a Boardwalk View Stateroom with a balcony overlooking the Boardwalk neighborhood on the ship. We actually have a peek a boo view of the ocean from our balcony.

We dined this evening at the American Icon Grill which is part of the main dining room. We enjoyed lobster bisque and filet mignon followed by key lime pie and molten chocolate cake which were all very good. After dinner and a stroll around the ship we headed back to our cabin. Just below our cabin are the restaurants, bars, Starbucks and even a carousel. The location is great but It is very lively at night. So if you are a light sleeper this location may not be for you. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed a show at the Aquatheater located just below our room. The show, the fine line, was fantastic and combined diving, dancing, great music and acrobatics. We ended our evening with a stroll around the Central Park neighborhood and the Royal Promenade. A special thank you to Alexandru from Romania at the Port Merchants gift shop who he went above and beyond to locates something special for us. Tomorrow we head to Nassau and will spend the day at Atlantis. Stay tuned to hear more about our last day on the ship and our time at Atlantis.

As always, please contact your Dream agent with any questions about this beautiful new ship and book your next Dream vacation.
