Day 1-Best of the Best Awards Trip, visit to Zoetry Paraiso De La Bonita

This week our agency is attending the Travel Impressions Best of the Best Awards trip.  Travel Impressions is one of our very top partners and they are one of the reasons why we are able to provide great service and experiences to our clients.  Each year, they select their top performing agencies and we spend a few days learning more about their offerings and networking with our resort partners.  This a very special week for us as are also receiving a Global Award with them, which is a prestigious award for the top travel agencies in the US.   We appreciate this honor and thank all of our clients for helping us earn it.  This year the trip is at the Moon Palace Resort, in Mexico.

Before the official trip, Amy is spending a night at Zoetry in Mexico.  Zoetry means "The art of life" and if you desire luxury and pampering this resort is for you.  This all inclusive, offering Endless Privileges, is one of our favorite resorts for many reasons, one of them being the amazing amount of inclusions that guests are offered.  A small list includes the following: comp. laundry every day (one of my faves), free calls and Internet, complimentary skin analysis and hydrotherapy, sunset cruise and shopping excursion, Temazcal Mayan Ceremony, champagne and tequila in your room, in room bar, 3 times a day maid service and many other things.  I came here feeling very stressed out and within hours was beginning to feel like a new person again.  I am already sad I am not staying longer so will be returning back here soon.

I flew down on Usair and was picked up at the Cancun airport by my driver from the resort.   Zoetry provides their own transfers too.  I was escorted in a Suburban and was offered a cool scented towel and water and champagne.  Twenty minutes later I was at the resort.  Pictures do not do it justice, Zoetry is absolutely breathtaking.  I was offered a tour but since I have been here before took the opportunity to head right to the pool.  Zoetry has two large pools with food and beverage service.  I enjoyed  Mexican lemonade and some chips and salsa and was ready for a nap.  Fortunately the amazing lounge chairs supported this habit.

There are 90 rooms at Zoetry, each having their own name and gate. The owner travels the world and brings back his wife beautiful treasures.  Many of these pieces are in the rooms.  Needless to say the rooms are gorgeous and spacious.  The smallest room is actually quite large, and it is 1100 square feet.  I am in Alwar, which is in the Romance Ocean Front Lover Suite.  I have a living area, two balconies, a plunge pool, outdoor sitting area and an outdoor shower.  I am delighted with my room and are looking forward to exploring it more later.

Read on tomorrow  to hear about dinner at the acclaimed restaurant La Canoa and about my visit to the top Thalasso Center in North America.
