Ali'i Nui

We met at at 6:30 am for snorkeling.  The trip includes breakfast, lunch, snorkeling, and drinks.  It was on a catamaran.  They did a great job. I've been on a number of snorkeling trips and they are top class.  The catamaran was clean, the crew was fun, and they included all of the food & drink.

They didn't bug you for tips, but the crew was always around to get you a drink, take your snorkeling gear, or get you a towel.  There are many other boats, but Ali'i Nui includes towels and many other things that other places do not.  Some other operators give you drink coupons, at Ali'i Nui, it is open bar the entire time and the staff is very friendly and will do anything for you.  Other places charge you ala carte for meals or have a deli tray.

Ali'i Nui includes all the food and they have hot and cold food. They had some really good pulled pork and chicken terriaki.  It takes about an hour to get to Molokini Crater.  Once there, you get in the water and snorkel for however long as you want.  We arrived before 10am and left around 12 pm.

The boat has snorkels, masks, fins, noodles, boogie boards, and everything that anyone from beginner and expert would need to snorkel. If you are a certified diver, you can also do a dive.  They only charge $70 more for a 1 tank dive. I didn't have my c-card with me, but they said they would call to verify my certification.  Unfortunately, I am flying within 16 hours, so I could not dive.  I would have loved to and since there was not anyone else diving, it would have been a private dive.  On the way there, the captain saw a whale tail.  It is early in the season to see whales, but he said that some of the females who are pregnant come early.  We could not find her after, so I suspect that she heard the boat and stayed down.  The snorkeling was OK. The area was really nice and beautiful location.  It was a relaxing time.

After our snorkeling, I went to the mall that was really close to our hotel.

They had some good shops to get some gifts without spending an arm and a leg.  Then I went to the adults only restaurant and hung out for a hour before getting a burger and heading to my room to get ready to go.  My flight is out at 9:55pm and I get into Phili around 6pm East Coast time.

Our shuttle comes at 7:45 pm and it takes 1/2 hour to get to the airport.

It's been a fabulous workation and we look forward to working with you on your next dream vacation to Hawaii.  Please ask your dream agent any questions or to get you pricing.
