Travel Impressions Best of the Best Awards- Day 2

Zoetry is known for their wellness offerings and especially for their spa.  Part of my job is experiencing all that resorts offer our clients and it was my pleasure to experience the spa at Zoetry.

Part of your Endless Privileges package includes a complimentary Thalassotherapy treatment.  Thalasso is a centuries old treatment which combines heat, cold, saltwater and other properties.  You go through a series of stations and each is supposed to compliment the other.  Afterwards I felt relaxed and my annoying aches were far less obvious.  This treatment is great for anyone and especially beneficial for anyone with arthritis, circulatory concerns or muscular ailments.

Also complimentary is a skin analysis and a Temazacal Mayan treatment.    Each day, the daily newsletter ( the Sundial) highlights the offerings.  I saw yoga at the pool, walking on the beach, guests meditating on the pier among other things.

For my treatment, I experienced the La Bonita's Surprise.  In my many years of spa samplings this was one of my best treatments ever.  My therapist was Lucero and she was kind, extremely professional and is just truly incredible at her job.  If you can get her for a treatment, please do it.  My 80 minute treatment involved an orange scrub using Mayan herbs and salts, a clay mud mask from the Chicxulub crater and then a massage with coconut oil and chaya. It was followed up,with a cold drink and time in the quiet room.  When you visit the spa, please keep am eye out for Jorge.  He is the spa manager and is full of passion for what he does.  He was always present, checking out his spa and meeting guests throughout the resort.

Another highlight at Zoetry is dining.  There are a few restaurants at Zoetry, and I was fortunate enough to eat dinner at La Canoa.  It is a AAA Four Diamond restaurant, which is an award reserved for the best restaurants in the industry. This restaurant is one of the leading restaurants in Mexico and certainly lives up to its reputation.  It has a dress code for both women and men.  My waiter was Sebastian and he was a consummate professional who took a lot of pride in his work.   My meal consisted of pear and asparagus salad, risotto and tomato and an amazing cut of beef tenderloin.  Other dining options at Zoetry include Kaax, El Chiringuito, Hippos Bar and the Library Bar. If you are a foodie, Zoetry is for you.

All good things must come to an end so sadly I needed to pack my bags and leave for our awards trip at Moon Palace.  To reserve your Zoetry vacation, please contact your Dream agent for additional details.
