We began our second day at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos with breakfast at Market Café. This is a buffet style restaurant with many options such as fresh fruit, pastries, local dishes and an omelette station. Market Café also features green juice which is known for its many health benefits.

After breakfast we headed to our session for the day, hosted by Travel Impressions where we learned of many new and exciting things to come in 2015 for our clients. We also met with many of our travel partners to discuss new opportunities at their properties.

For lunch we opted to eat at the Seaside Grill which is located near the main pool and as its name suggests, has a lovely ocean view. As an appetizer, we had the Mix Seafood Ceviche which was similar to a salsa with shrimp and scallops. It was very good. For our main dishes we had a cheese quesadilla and a chicken burrito and for dessert we had tiramisu. Everything was great.

We found chairs at the pool and spent the majority of our afternoon catching some sun. It was a beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky. We each got drinks at the pool and were impressed with their quick and friendly level of service. Everyday the resort features a drink of the day which you can read about on the daily Sundial schedule that is sent to your room. Today's drink was the Toucan, a sweet pineapple vodka drink. The pool has a fun and upbeat feel with opportunities for playing pool and beach volleyball and a DJ to liven up the atmosphere.

Mid-afternoon we stopped to grab a bite to eat at Barefoot Grill which is right beside the main pool. This is a great option if you want a quick snack or a light meal and is self serve. They offer options such as hamburgers, chicken tenders, French fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and chips and salsa.

For dinner we dined at El Patio, the Mexican restaurant. This restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining options. As appetizers, we had the shrimp enchiladas and classic tortilla soup which were both enjoyable. For our main dishes we had vegetarian quesadillas and grilled octopus which were also delectable. The evening event was hosted by the Dominican Republic Board of Tourism.  We enjoyed drinks, dancing and musical entertainment.
