I, Amy McHugh, co-owner of Dream Makers Vacation Services are traveling on a workation for the next few days to Unico, which is in the Riviera Maya.  Unico means unique and this resort certainly lives us to its name. This adults only, all inclusive just opened two months ago and has taken the resort world by storm.  Among the many highlights, they feature select spa, treatments, and golf complimentary minus the 20% service charge.  Free spa treatments!  Wow!   I have a full slate of appointments reserved and cannot wait to share more resort details with you.

After flying into the CUN airport, we got through security/immigration quickly and were off to paradise.  Outside of the exit to the airport, our driver met us and we were off.  The resort is approximately 70 minutes from the airport.  As a point of reference, it is near the Palladium and the El Dorado Seaside Suites.  It is also about 10 minute from the Hard Rock Riviera Maya, which is part of the same company as Unico.  More on some exchange privileges with this later.

Upon arriving, we were greeted with a fresh towel and a delicious drink.  We were greeted by our Local Host, which is called a Anfitrion.   This is similar to a Concierge in my opinion, their role is to help enhance your experience at the resort and educate and offer local excursions, etc. After a quick check in (in the gorgeous lobby!), I was escorted to my room (4403).  I was in an Alcoba Ocean View room and was really impressed by it.  This large, oversized room had a King bed, had local décor throughout, had a hydro spa tub on the balcony, a stocked mini bar, a Nespresso machine, and other fabulous amenities.  I also found snacks in a drawer below the Nespresso machine, so keep an eye out for them. My view of the ocean was good, but my location was great.  I was located near the lobby, spa, most of the restaurants, etc. and could get anywhere with a few minutes notice.

Today was a long day but I am so excited to be here and look forward to sharing more soon.  This resort is not your typical all inclusive and I absolutely love it.  Stay tuned for more and please ask about our special October rates and amenities (fabulous chance for you to get here in style!).  Please ask your Dream agent of any questions, etc.  Thank you as always for your business and referrals and we look forward to planning your next Dream vacation.
