Our Story
Magen Curry
Dominic and Magen have lived in Haverhill for almost 3 years after moving a couple of times. They are very happy there, so they are sure they will be in their condo for a long time. Magen works in customer service, attends college part time, and hopes to have a career in the medical profession. I guess you could say she's a homebody and enjoys having people over rather than going out to bars or clubs. Although, she really does enjoy going out and trying different restaurants. She is very thankful for her friends and family, and is excited to be able to share such a wonderful time in their life with everyone!
Dominic Mazzeo
Dominic is a Union Pipefitter for Local 537. He has worked extremely hard to get where he is today. He is a loving father of his 2 boys who are 14 and 7. He is very caring, affectionate, and although he'd hate to admit it, he's also sensitive. Magen and Dominic say they compliment each other perfectly because Magen is the quiet one who takes time to open up, and Dominic is someone who can make friends in the first 5 minutes of meeting people. He has a great family who has been supportive of everything he does, and a mother who is happy he "finally" gave Magen a ring!

How we met: The first time we met was in December of 1996. We stayed together for a little less than a year. I even moved in with him at his parents' house! We were very much in love, and my mother even thanked him for "making her daughter so happy". Things just didn't work out at that time, so I got my own apartment and moved out. For the most part, we always kept in touch through the years. I think the longest time we went without talking or running to each other was 1 year. We would even see each other on the highway, so we would pull over and catch up! The last time we got back in contact was December of 2004, and he asked me out on a date for New Year's Eve. We had the best time, and we've been together ever since. I always thought about Dominic when we were apart, and wished that we would be together again, but it just wasn't the right time - until now!!
The proposal: Dominic proposed to me on Christmas Eve of 2008 at my aunt and uncle's house in Maine, which is where I grew up. He had asked for my father's blessing ahead of time, and told my mother what he was planning. He told me there were so many times before the holiday when he had the ring, that he wanted to propose but he wanted to wait to do it in front of my family because he knew it would be so special and memorable that way. Everyone got to share in our excitement! Originally when we started making plans for our wedding, we were going to have it in Maine. Our dream, however, was to get married on the beach. So after a lot of research, we decided to have a Weddingmoon at Excellence Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We are so much in love, and so excited that we are finally getting married and having our dream wedding!!
