I ended my three month Europe trip by having a relaxing stay at the beautiful Dreams Jardin Tropical Resort on the island of Tenerife, Spain.
Accommodations:
We stayed at the Dreams Jardin Tropical Resort & Spa in the Double Pool View Suite. The room was nice and had a pretty view of the pool and the overall resort. The resort had a great atmosphere at night with live music all around and the sunset bar and lobby bar being active. The gym was outdoors facing the ocean and was beautiful with lots of breeze. The staff and guests at the resort were all very friendly.
Food and Drinks:
The breakfast at the resort was a very standard all-inclusive breakfast. There was one buffet breakfast restaurant, World Cafe, and one a la carte option for those of preferred club. At breakfast they had mimosas and bloody marys which was a nice touch.
We spent our days by the pool and had many amazing cocktails from the lovely bartender at the pool bar. Drinks were super good and reasonably priced. On some days they would have deals like 50% off mojitos and such which was nice. Most nights we ate out at restaurants on the main strip in Tenerife, super close walking distance from the resort. We ate at Restaurante Aurora multiple times and LOVED it! They had great food, amazing sushi, and very friendly staff. Every time we went we were given a complimentary shot which was a fun added touch. The restaurant is a one minute walk out of the resort and definitely somewhere you need to try.
However, one night we did eat out at the “Babbo American grill” at the resort and it was wonderful! We had the chimichurri steak kabobs, shrimp, and creme brulee. Very reasonably priced, friendly staff, and great food.
Overall:
This resort was beautiful and felt very small and intimate. Definitely a good vibe for a couples trip or romantic getaway. I would love to come back to the island and get to do some excursions and visit all the volcanos and more that Tenerife has to offer. Contact us so we can get you to this Dream Destination! 🙂
